So who DOESN'T
remember Sega's seminal driving game Crazy Taxi ?
A wild ride through San Francisco-esque streets, while
listening to tunes from The Offspring and Bad Religion. It's one of
my
favourite games ever, even though I'm not that great at it. So I
made a
Crazy Taxi cosplay costume for Brisbane supanova 2018. In 2019
I'll take it to Brisbane Comic con (not San Diego)

22/05/20: well we didn't get to the 2019 Comic Con. And now
it's
2020 and Corona Virus has put paid to this year as well! Maybe next
year...

Crazy
Taxi
30 March 2021: Crazi Taxi is now retired and gainfully employed as a
wall decoration in my games room. I used a lot of hot glue building
it and in retrospect that wasn't a good idea. Last week we had
torrential rains for a few days. Things got soft, joints shifted and
the taxi fell off the wall! Luckily it wasn't badly damaged. I
repaired it, but this time kept the hot glue gun safely stored away.
Screws, small metal brackets and builders adhesive made him more
secure than ever. Next I have a chance, I'll add a floor and a basic
bench seat to it.
